Bellevue 2, Mount Si 1
Will Rattigan scored in the 64th minute to give Bellevue a 2-1 win over Mount Si. Race Sciabica scored the games first goal in the 28th minute for the Wolverines (4-7, 3-5 KingCo 3A/2A) off a pass from Liam Kelly. Doug Silvius scored a minute later to even things up for the Wildcats (4-6, 3-4).
Interlake 4, Juanita 1
The Saints (5-5-2, 3-5) scored the first four goals of the game to beat Juanita 4-1. Jordan Con, Jeremy Carlson, Miguel Castillo and Andy Fordyce all scored for Interlake. J.J. Wakefield scored in the 65th minute to get Juanita (4-7, 4-4) on the board.
Ballard 2, Newport 1 (OT)
Nick Christie’s overtime goal nine minutes into the extra time gave Ballard a 2-1 win over Newport. Greg Testa scored the Beavers (4-4-1, 2-3-1 KingCo 4A) first goal of the game in the 44th minute. Michael Kahn scored with only one minute left in the game to tie it for Newport (3-8-1, 2-5) before Christie’s game-winner.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Forest Ridge 12, Nathan Hale 7
Jillian Chong scored six goals and added two assists to go along with eight ground balls as Forest Ridge edged Nathan Hale in girls Division I play. Burke Okrasanski had 10 saves for the Ravens (4-4). Lara Sidhu had three goals for Nathan Hale (3-4).
Bainbridge 15, Bellevue East 6
Nicole Miller had five goals and Morgan Moniz added three to help the Spartans roll over Bellevue East 15-6.
Sophie Wolz had three goals to lead Bellevue (6-3) while Samantha Gunnerson made nine saves in the loss. Bainbridge remains perfect at 7-0 on the year with the win.
BASEBALL
Newport 9, Roosevelt 2
Brandon Andreini improved to 3-2 on the year by going five innings and striking out five for the Knights, helping Newport to a 9-2 win over Roosevelt. Andreini allowed two runs on six hits in his five innings of work and Zach Nasu went 3-for-3 with a home run for the Knights (6-7, 5-6 KingCo 4A). Mark Sugiyama took the loss for the Roughriders (3-10, 1-10).
