Boys tennis

Interlake splits pair

The Saints took three of the four singles matches and also picked up a pair of doubles wins to top 4A Woodinville, winning 5-2.

Connor Garnett returned to the singles court for Interlake against Mercer Island and picked up a straight set win over fellow state qualifier Brian Hou, but the Saints were unable to win any of the other six matches, falling 6-1 to the Islanders.

Bellevue got a team high 13 digs from Nikole Pham and 11 kills from Ella Young in the win over Lake Washington.

Interlake 3 Mount Si 1

Kendall Davis had 25 digs for the Saints and Julia Regalia added 29 assists in the win.

Courtney Johnson had 12 digs and a pair of aces for Interlake.

Girls soccer

Bellevue 1 Lake Washington 0

Isabelle Butterfield scored the lone goal of the game for the Wolverines off an assist from Sophie Butterfield to help Bellevue to the 1-0 win.

Newport 121 Roosevelt 65

The Knights continued an impressive early-season run in the pool, nearly doubling the score of KingCo foe Roosevelt in a 121-65 win.

Elisa Fang earned a state qualifying time in the 100 meter butterfly and the Knights also punched a ticket to state in the 200 free relay.
