Cassidy McDermott scored 17 points to lead the Saints and Margo Parker added 12 more in the win.

Eboney Jackson and Whitney Hoglund led the Saints with seven points each in the loss.

Wrestling

Newport takes one match at Clash of the Classes

The Newport wrestling program was back on the mat during the weekend to face-off against top competitors from 2A/3A and 4A KingCo at the Clash of the Classes.

Newport defeated Lake Washington and lost matches to Liberty, Mercer Island and tournament champion Mount Si.
