Richard’s Run coming back to Bellevue | Community recreation news

Runners and walkers hoping to hit the streets for a good cause can take part in the second annual Richard's Run Bellevue.

Richard’s Run, a 5K run/walk to benefit local kids fighting cancer, will be back in Bellevue September 29 for the second straight year of the event.

Entry fee is $25 for an individual or $55 for a family and includes a t-shirt. The Mariner Moose, live music and family events will all be part of the post race activities.

The race begins and ends at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 8398 N.E. 12th St. and registration opens at 7 a.m. on race day.

Pre-registration is available online at www.runsignup.com/richardsrunbellevue. Proceeds from the event go to support Go4theGoal Pediatric Cancer Foundation, a Bellevue-based organization that raises money for cancer patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
