Hannah Cross-Karras scored an unassisted goal in the 69th minute to help Ballard (2-3-2, 1-0-1 KingCo 4A) salvage a tie with Newport. Jami Shimada scored in the 35th minute for Newport (1-2-4, 0-1-1).

University Prep 2, Forest Ridge 1

Clara Midgley and Amanda Ng scored goals to help U-Prep (3-3, 2-3 Emerald City League) beat Forest Ridge 2-1. Amanda Klug scored the Ravens (2-3, 0-3) lone goal.

Sept. 24

Mercer Island 2, Bellevue 0

Lauren Frank scored two unassisted goals 20 minutes apart to help Mercer Island (6-1, 4-0 KingCo 3A/2A) knock off Bellevue (4-3, 1-2).

Sammamish 3, Interlake 1

Anna Geldenhuys scored twice and Samantha Tobin added a third as Sammamish (3-2-2, 2-1-1) beat Interlake 3-1. Megan McGough scored the only goal for the Saints (2-4, 0-3). All the scoring in the game came in the first half.

Northwest School 3, Bellevue Christian 1

Sammy Lavitt, Libby Lavitt and Karlie LeClair all scored goals to help Northwest School (3-2, 2-2 Emerald City League) beat the Vikings 3-1 in Bellevue. Katie Rubstello scored the only goal for Bellevue Christian (1-4, 0-3).

Bellevue 3, Sammamish 0

Karina Vegarra had 14 kills and four aces to lead the Wolverines (1-4, 1-2 KingCo 3A/2A) to a 25-18, 25-15, 25-20 win over the Totems at Sammamish High School. Brigitte Butler had 28 assists for Bellevue. Sammamish falls to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in conference play.

Mount Si 3, Interlake 0

Zoe Gogan had a game-high 20 kills and three aces to lead Mount Si to a 25-13, 25-14, 25-21 win over the Saints. Aubrey Larion had eight kills, 15 digs and three aces for the Wildcats (5-1, 4-0). Interlake (2-3, 1-2) was led by the 18 digs of Lauren Davis.

Sept. 23

Bellevue Christian 3, Cedar Park Christian 2

Allison Peterson had 16 kills, 15 digs and three aces to lead the Vikings to a 25-21, 15-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-13 thrilling win against Cedar Park Christian. Dani Christianson added five kills and 10 digs for the Vikings (5-0, 3-0 Emerald City League). Cedar Park Christian (2-1, 2-1) was led by Candice Whipple, who had 22 kills, 24 digs and three aces, and Lyndsay Palmer, who had 38 assists and 24 digs.

Overlake 3, Forest Ridge 2

Claire Bazely had five kills and Alex Weaver had three aces but the Ravens (0-5, 0-3) lost to Overlake (2-3, 2-2) 18-25, 25-20, 25-27, 25-23, 13-15.
