Kat Wood picked up the win with a complete-game performance in the circle for Newport.

Bellevue takes East Coast swing

Bellevue’s 24-game winning streak, which dates to their state title season last year and lasted more than a full calendar year, ended on Tuesday in New York, where the Wolverines fell 10-5 to Lido Beach.

Bellevue defeated Port Washington and the U.S. Military Acacdemy at West Point to begin the trip.
