Victoria Maxon scored five goals and teammate Caroline Vokos scored four to help Holy Names defeat Bellevue 18-12. Merielle Moffatt of Bellevue led all scorers with eight goals.

BASEBALL

Liberty 11, Interlake 1

Eric Etter went 2-for-2 and knocked in two runs to help the Patriots beat Interlake 11-1 in Renton. Keegan Bennett got the win for Liberty (16-3, 15-2 KingCo 3A/2A). Griffin Sutich took the loss for Interlake (3-16, 3-15).

Bellevue 12, Mercer Island 2

Nolan Grey picked up his first win of the year for Bellevue, and Jeff Melby went 3-for-3 with a double and a home run, knocking in five runs to help Bellevue beat Mercer Island 12-2. Jake Collier and Alex Bielaski each knocked in three runs for Bellevue (13-6, 12-5). Ben Emanuels took the loss for Mercer Island (8-10, 7-10).

SOFTBALL

Issaquah 12, Newport 0

Molly Nelson and Kenna Olsen each had three RBIs as Issaquah blanked Newport 12-0. Mikenzie Voves got the win for Issaquah (11-4, 9-3 KingCo 4A), while Kayla Reynolds took the loss for Newport (8-8, 5-7).

Interlake 6, Bellevue 4

Sara Ostlund went 4-for-4 to help lead the Saints to a 6-4 KingCo 3A/2A win over Bellevue. Cady Buscher got the win for Interlake (7-6, 6-4). Emily Fleischman took the loss for the Wolverines (9-7, 7-4).

Liberty 8, Sammamish 5

Denise Blohowiak got the win on the mound and picked up two RBIs at the plate for Liberty (9-7, 6-4). Sammamish fell to 6-11 overall and 1-9 in KingCo play.
