Kaitlin Sahlinger had two base hits and scored a pair of runs for Newport as the Knights stayed hot on the softball diamond with a 5-2 win over Bothell.

Kat Wood also had a pair of hits and pitched all secen innings, allowing two runs, neither of which was earned.

Chad Shapard put in a goal from Nate Lafavour in the first half and Lafavour added one of his own from Arden Chew later in the game to secure the win for the Saints.

Goalkeeper Connor Brandli and the Interlake defense picked up the shutout.
