Longtime Bellevue resident and baseball instructor Phil Rognier and his FirstSwing Foundation will be back in Bellevue from August 6 – 10 for a five-day baseball and softball clinic at Clyde Hill School.

The camps, while covering basic baseball and softball fundamentals, will also serve as an outlet for Rognier’s mission of teaching youngsters about proper dietary and exercise habits and other important life-lessons that can be explored through baseball.

Rognier is also the founder of Baseball Connect, a program that has helped facilitate baseball instruction and expansion in Portugal, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand and New Zealand.

Cost of the camp is $125 for the five-day camp with an additional $45 for a special skills session that will take place on the second day.
