Stacey Hagenson picked up the win for Newport (13-3, 12-2 KingCo 3A), who remains in second place in the conference as the season winds down.

Jessica Barry and Nicole Baumgartner each went 2 for 4 for the Knights in the win. Lauren Richards took the loss for Skyline (9-7, 8-6).

Kharis Goldman went seven innings and allowed only two hits as Mercer Island defeated Bellevue.

Lisa Bennett was hit with the loss for Bellevue (1-12, 1-12). Mercer Island improved to 2-14 overall with the win.

Kate Faoro went a perfect 4 for 4 as Liberty shutout Interlake at home.

Stef Rabitoy was pegged for the loss for the Saints (8-9, 6-8), while Jesi Siemons picked up the win for Liberty (10-6, 8-5).

Mikenzie Voves struck out five and Issaquah remained a perfect 14-0 with a win over Sammamish.

Tina Jacobsen took the loss for Sammamish (7-11, 5-9).

Bainbridge 11, Eastside Catholic 0

Chelsie Kakela, Cara Thompson and Lindsay Willmann all homered for Bainbridge, who shutout the Crusaders for the second-straight game.

Willmann also picked up the win for Bainbridge (16-0, 13-0 Metro League Mountain Division), pitching all five innings and allowing only two hits. Ronnie Mae Ayers took the loss for Eastside Catholic (12-4, 10-4).
