Ben Johnson (Bellevue High School)

Parent club: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Current club: Class AAA Salt Lake, Pacific Coast League

Johnson, a former Bellevue High School and University of Washington slugger, had been leading the Arkansas Travelers of the AA Texas League in home runs, RBIs and total bases before a call-up to AAA Salt Lake of the Pacific Coast League. Johnson is hitting .182 in nine games for the Bees.

Evan Meek (Bellevue Community College)

Parent club: Pittsburgh Pirates

Current club: Class AAA Indianapolis, International League

Beginning the season on the Pirates Major League roster, Meek is coming out of the bullpen for AAA Indianapolis. Meek has pitched 19.1 innings, allowing 16 hits and eight runs for a 3.26 ERA.

Jason Ellison (Bellevue Community College)

Parent club: Texas Rangers

Current club: Class AAA Oklahoma City, Pacific Coast League

Ellison, a former Mariner, is hitting .241 in 98 games with AAA Oklahoma City of the PCL. He is second on the team in hits with 95 and has knocked in 48 runs. He has made only two errors all season in center field.

Blake Hawksworth (Bellevue Community College)

Parent club: St. Louis Cardinals

Current club: Class AAA Memphis, Pacific Coast League

Hawksworth is 2-6 with a 6.22 ERA in 11 games at AAA Memphis of the PCL. A starting pitcher, Hawksworth has pitched 55 innings and has 52 strikeouts to 26 walks.

Rommie Lewis (Newport High School)

Parent club: Baltimore Orioles

Current club: Class AA Bowie, Eastern League

Lewis, a 2001 4th-round pick of the Orioles, comes out of the bullpen for the AA Bowie Baysox. The 6-foot-6 left-hander is 0-5 with a 4.22 ERA in 28 games. Lewis has given up 64 hits, but has allowed only two home runs in 49 innings pitched. He has struck out 38 while walking 23.

Jay Miller (Newport High School)

Parent club: Philadelphia Phillies

Current club: Class A Lakewood BlueClaws, South Atlantic League.

Miller, the Phillies 17th-round selection in 2006, is hitting .205 in 21 games at Lakewood. Miller began the year with Cleveland of the FSL and hit .301 with 11 RBIs.

Brad Reid (Bellevue Community College)

Parent club: Seattle Mariners

Current club: Class A Everett, Northwest League

Reid, who was promoted from the M’s rookie league team to High Desert of the California League for nearly three weeks, was been sent to Class A Everett last week. Reid has pitched two innings for the Aquasox, allowing only one hit while striking out two.

Ian Harrington (Bellevue Community College)

Parent club: Arizona Diamondbacks

Current club: Class A Yakima, Northwest League

Harrington is 1-3 in six games for the Bears of the NWL. He is sporting a 3.03 ERA and has allowed 39 hits in 36.2 innings pitched. He has struck out 21 while walking only seven.

Bradley Clapp (Bellevue Community College)

Parent club: Pittsburgh Pirates

Current club: Class A Hickory, South Atlantic League

Clapp, a 2005 BCC alum, is 3-6 in 15 games with the Crawdads. He has pitched 71.1 innings and has allowed 81 hits, while maintaining a 3.15 ERA.

Harrison Bishop (Bellevue Community College)

Parent club: Pittsburgh Pirates

Current club: Class A Hickory, South Atlantic League

Bishop is 5-2 with a 3.55 ERA coming out of the bullpen for Hickory. He has struck out 54 batters while walking only 17 in 50.2 innings pitched.

Blaine Hardy (Bellevue Community College)

Parent club: Kansas City Royals

Current Club: Rookie ball, Idaho Falls Chukars, Pioneer League

Hardy, a right-handed reliever, is 1-0 with a 6.91 ERA in 14.1 innings pitched with the Idaho Falls Chukars of the Pioneer League, the Royals rookie ball team. Hardy was a 2008 draft pick of the Royals.
