In a game between two teams already guaranteed post-season spots, Bellevue blew past Interlake 56-14 at Saints Stadium.

Bellevue rushed for 346 yards against the Saints. Junior running back Will Fields carried the ball 11 times for 157 yards and three scores for Bellevue (9-0, 6-0 KingCo 3A) and David Nguyen picked up 103 on only three carries.

Fields scored the first touchdown of the game on a 30-yard run for the Wolverines and Jamal Atofau made it 14-0 with a 20-yard touchdown reception from Joe Joe Conner.

Matt Mwangi made it a 14-7 game in the first quarter after he hauled in a 15-yard pass from Matt Malos.

Bellevue scored the games next 28 points, all on touchdown runs, to put the score out of reach from the Saints (5-4, 2-4).

Ricky Aaron’s 1-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter made it 42-14, but Sean Coley returned the ensuing kickoff 98-yards for a touchdown, his second of the night.

William Bissell ended the scoring with a 13-yard touchdown for Bellevue in the fourth quarter.

Malos ended the game with 213 yards and two touchdowns, while Interlake receiver Dylan Amell hauled in eight catches for 138 yards.

Both teams will play playoff games in the next week.

Bellevue will play either Everett or Sedro-Wooley (result not available at Reporter deadline) on Nov. 8 in Bellevue.

The winner of that game will be the District 2 No.1 seed for the first round of state.

The Wolverines lost to O’Dea in the Class 3A state semi-finals last season.

O’Dea lost to Skyline in the state championship.

Interlake, who qualified for the Class 2A state playoffs, will play at the third seed from the Nisqually/Olympic crossover games.

That opponent was not available as of the Reporter deadline.

It is the first time in nearly 20 years that the Saints have made the playoffs.

Cody Martinell scored on a 15-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give the Totems (1-8) their first win of the season over Foster. The Bulldogs (3-6) took the lead in the third quarter on a one-yard run by Norman Moi Moi.

But a short punt by Foster in the fourth quarter set up the Totems winning drive, giving Sammamish the ball at the Foster 25-yard line.
