Bellevue volleyball beats Liberty | Girl’s Volleyball

Laura Goesling had 11 kills and 10 digs and libero Memie Haung added 13 digs as Bellevue earned a big conference victory with a 27-25, 10-25, 25-14, 25-14 victory over Liberty at Bellevue High School on Tuesday.

Karina Vegarra and Annie Claeys combined for seven aces for the Wolverines (3-6, 3-4 KingCo 3A/2A). Madison Whitney had 12 digs and Brigitte Butler added 33 assists for Bellevue.

Liberty fell to 5-6 overall and 3-5 in conference play.

Juanita 3, Sammamish 0

Alona Chenish had 15 assists and 11 aces, helping Juanita beat Sammamish 25-14, 25-16, 25-9.

Ashley Manzoni had 12 digs, Vicky Neam had 10 kills and six aces and Dana Michels added three aces for Juanita (4-6, 4-4).

Sammamish (0-10, 0-8) was led by Jennifer Balke (six kills) and Sophia Vitalone (10 assists).

Cedar Park Christian 3, Bellevue Christian 0

Lyndsay Palmer had 34 assists, 12 digs and four aces to lead Cedar Park Christian to a 27-25, 25-20, 25-10 win over the Vikings.

Cydnee Dufenhorst had eight kills and four aces for the Eagles (5-2, 5-2 Emerald City League).

Meredith Lampe led the Vikings (8-, 6-2) with three blocks and 13 assists.

Bellevue Christian is the only area team ranked in the top-10 in the latest Volleyball Coaches Association State Rankings

Oct. 12

Skyline 3, Newport 1

Paige Haas had nine aces and the Spartans had 25 total as Skyline beat Newport 25-18, 23-25, 25-15, 25-14 in Sammamish.

Maddie Magee added 15 kills for Skyline (4-6, 4-3 KingCo 4A). Newport was led by Maddy Bell, who had five kills and five blocks, and Maria Travaille, who added 15 assists and six digs. Senna Parsa added six kills for the Knights (7-2, 4-2).
