Bellevue Thunderbird Little League will be sponsoring a series of softball clinics this month in an effort to prepare players for the upcoming season.

The clinics, which will run 9:45 a.m. to noon on Jan. 10, 17 and 24, will cost $5 per session but are free for first-year players. The clinics will take place at Eastside Christian and are for Thunderbird Little League players only.

In addition to reviewing the fundamentals of throwing, fielding and hitting, the clinics also will provide special instruction on pitching, catching, bunting and base running. Each session will be different and players are encouraged to attend all three sessions.

Players should bring mitts and a bat. Parents are encouraged to attend the clinics as well.
