The Wolverines had little trouble with a second straight 2A opponent, building an insurmountable lead in the first half of a 56-0 win over Lake Washington.

Juanita will make the trip to Wolverine Way next week for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Mercer Island 63 Sammamish 0

Sammamish remained winless after a one-sided game with the Islanders, 63-0 in the first conference game of the season for both teams.

Second ranked Mount Si is waiting next week for Totems.

Mount Si 42 Interlake 8

The Saints trailed 35-0 at the half and never rebounded in the 42-8 loss to Mount Si.

Newport 40 Issaquah 21

Newport quarterback Isaac Dotson took control on both sides of the ball in the 40-21 win, scoring __ touchdowns and intercepting a pass in the second half that led to a score.

The Knights will take a trip to Memorial Stadium to face Ballard in a 7:45 p.m. start on September 28.

Port Townsend 67 Bellevue Christian 39

The Vikings fell for the second straight week, 67-39 to Port Townsend. BCS will host Cascade Christian from Puyallup next Saturday at 7 p.m. at Lake Washington High School.
