Bellevue fourth as Williams takes two more | Prep sports news

Bellevue got a fourth place finish at the 3A state swim and dive meet behind a pair of individual titles from Kim Williams.

Kim Williams, a junior at Bellevue Christian School in Clyde Hill and member of the Bellevue swim and dive team, captured two more individual state titles Saturday at King County Aquatic Center, leading the Wolverines to a fourth place team finish in Class 3A.

Williams blew away the field in the 200 yard individual medley, where she shaved nearly four-seconds from her preliminary time to touch the wall in two minutes, 00.64 seconds and win by nearly a four-second margin.

It was a tighter finish in the 100 breaststroke, but again it was Williams to the fall first, swimming 1:02.11 to bring her state championship total to five in three prep meets.
