Bellevue followed up a big non-conference victory Monday night against Bellarmine Prep with a 75-38 KingCo 3A/2A win over Sammamish on Wednesday.
Bellevue (13-1, 6-0 league) scored 30 points in the fourth quarter of the game to erase any upset hopes the Totems might have had. Colton Christian scored a game-high 23 points and Alex Schrempf added 15 points and nine rebounds.
Sammamish fell to 5-8 overall and 2-4 in league play with the loss. The Totems were led by Daniel Wruble’s 13 points. Sammamish’s 6-10 center David Wink was held scoreless in the loss.
The win for Bellevue came only one night after the Wolverines knocked off 4A Bellarmine Prep 52-43 in the King Holiday Hoopfest at the Bank of America Arena on the University of Washington campus.
Bellarmine, led by one of the state’s top recruits in Abdul Gaddy, trailed the Wolverines 16-8 after one quarter and could never make up the deficit. Schrempf led all scorers with 25 points in the win while Bellevue’s defense limited Gaddy to a mere 11 points.

Liberty 45, Interlake 41
Jake Bainton and Chandler Jenkins each scored 10 points to lead Liberty to a 45-41 league win against Interlake.
Aaron Sweat scored a game-high 14 points for the Saints (6-6, 1-5) and Ricky Aaron added 13 in the loss.
Liberty improved to 4-9 overall with the win and 1-5 in league play.
Woodinville 68, Newport 43
The Falcons had three players score in double figures and Woodinville knocked off Newport 68-43 at home.
Joey Reavley scored 13 points and Kyle Clifford and Taylor Tarabochia each added 10 for Woodinville (5-7, 3-5 KingCo 4A).
Richard Woodworth was the sole Knight in double figures, as he scored 13 points in the loss for Newport (4-9, 3-6).
King’s 59, Bellevue Christian 52
In the first game of the King Holiday Hoopfest, King’s outlasted Bellevue Christian 59-52.
Nick Hardy scored 15 points and Kyle Talbot added 14 to snap the Vikings three-game win streak. King’s improved to 11-3 overall.
David Downs scored a game-high 27 points for Bellevue Christian (8-5) in the loss.
