Baseball Elite, a select club based in Newcastle, is hosting tryouts for its 12U and 13U teams on August 25 and 26.

The 12U team competes in the WSSBL Pee Wee Reese league while the 13U squad plays WSSBL Sandy Koufax rules.

As many as 10 tournaments can also be expected throughout the year and the indoor training season begins in November.

Both tryouts will be held at at Renton Academy (123rd Ave. S.E. and Newcastle Way).

12U: Saturday, Aug. 25, 10 a.m.

13U: Sunday, Aug. 26, 10 a.m.
