Untruth about carbon footprints | Letter

In your July 1 issue Bill Roll wrote, "One erupting volcano spews a carbon footprint greater than all of mankind since Adam and Eve to present day." Readers who, like myself, found this an unusual statistic might open their internet browser and put: "Which produces more CO2, volcanic or human activity" in the search box.
