Winter Wonderland Ball

Do you have tiny dancer in your home? Then you may want to consider attending the eighth annual Winter Wonderland Ball this Sunday. The Pacific Northwest Ballet presents this fun event that will allow your twinkle toes to experience fun ballet classes, meet company dancers, and munch on yummy treats. The PNB will be performing Cinderella and will be hosting a Cinderella-themed cakewalk at the event.

A Tribute to Peace: Lives of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On Sunday, the Bellevue Library is hosting a peace rally honoring the lives of Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. The event will feature a keynote address from Rev. Dr. Samuel McKinney, and Congressman Jim McDermott will honor those that donated to the Gandhi Memorial. Following the ceremony, there will be a candlelight vigil at the Gandhi Statue Memorial.

Mia and the Magic Cupcakes

Who doesn’t love cupcakes? And wouldn’t it be fabulous if they had ability to make you big and strong? So thinks Mia, who wishes just that on her birthday – and gets surprising results. This Saturday morning at University Bookstore in Bellevue, your little one can hear the story of Mia and the Magic Cupcakes. The author, Christina Dudley, lives in Bellevue and will be reading the story in person.
