Victor S. Griesinger

June 16, 1921 – June 6, 2011

Victor was born in Wilbur, WA, one of three children of Dr. Edward and Mrs. Bertha Griesinger of the Yakima Valley. He attended Yakima Junior College and graduated from Central Washington University. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and married Myrtle Minion of Yakima in September 1949. Victor managed the Griesinger Veterinary Hospital in Yakima until 1967. Then he began a 22-year career at Boeing in Renton, where he was a Methods Analyst in the Engineering Dept. of the Commercial Airplane Division. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, of Bellevue; son, Randy, of Bellevue; daughter, Vicki, of Ashland, OR; and sister, Joyce Stuckrath, of Wenatchee, WA. Victor was an avid reader and, until 10 years ago, walked every day to the Bellevue Regional Library.
