Capt. Albert Daniel Grantham, USCG retired

Capt. Al Grantham went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2010 at the age of 80. He was born in Attica, NY in 1930. He joined the US Coast Guard in 1949 and served his country for 34 years. He married the love of his life Pearl in 1951. They had 4 daughters, 8 grandchildren and just welcomed their first great-grandchild. Retiring to Bellevue in 1983, he continued to be active in many military groups around the area.Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, from 6-8 pm at Sunset Hills Memorial, 1215 145 PL SE, Bellevue. The Celebration of Capt. Grantham’s life will be held Sunday, February 28, at 2 pm, at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, 1717 Bellevue Way NE.
