Youth councils around the greater Seattle area will join together on May 2 for the 2009 Regional Eastside Youth Council Summit.

The Summit will take place at the International School in Bellevue and is an opportunity for youth councils to start discussions in working to resolve youth issues while building lasting friendships as well as professional relationships. The goal is to work together to improve the programs available to the youth in the local communities.

The International School is located at 445 128th Ave. S.E.. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the event will conclude at 2 p.m.
