On Sat., Jan. 9 at approximately 11:34 a.m., a Medina Police officer responded to a report of a woman wearing a santa hat standing in the middle of the roadway in the 700 block of Overlake Drive East. The woman was reportedly attempting to direct traffic.

Upon arrival, the officer contacted the subject and conducted a records check, which revealed she was a convicted felon with a $5,000 warrant for her arrest for assault. The subject was taken into custody without incident and booked into the King County Jail.

During her arrest the subject revealed she had spent the night at a residence on Overlake Drive East in Medina where she and several other subjects were involved in drug activity. Medina officers will be investigating.
