John Howie Steak is giving away a trip to the Taste of the NFL, which takes place on the eve of the Super Bowl.

For the first time ever in 2013, diners of John Howie Steak in Bellevue will have a chance to accompany the restaurant’s chef and namesake to the Super Bowl for the Taste of the NFL event, which takes place the night before the Super Bowl.

Howie has participated in the event for nine years as the representative of the Pacific Northwest and the Seattle Seahawks, but after next season one lucky drawing winner will have a chance to go as well. Through Tuesday, Apr. 17, guests who dine at John Howie Steak in downtown Bellevue wil be entered into a weekly drawing to win a gift card for the value of their meal.

One drawing for lunch ($200), the lounge ($250) and dinner ($400) will take place each week and two additional Facebook bonus entries are rewarded weekly to those who “like” the restaurant and/or post a photo of themselves there (one entry per Facebook “like”).

Diners will also be entered into a final drawing to win a trip to the February 2013 Taste of the NFL in New Orleans with John Howie or a $5,000 gift card to John Howie Steak – the winner’s choice.

The Taste of the NFL features chefs from around the country’s NFL markets who are paired with a current or retired NFL player at food stations that feature fine cuisine.
