Improvements to a stretch of West Lake Sammamish Parkway, including a new multi-use path and pedestrian crossings, are set to be completed in October.

To celebrate the upgrades to the arterial, between Southeast 34th Street and Interstate 90, the city will throw a party for residents on Oct. 10 at Sambica. Northbound vehicles have been rerouted around the site during construction.
