Weekend highway closure: state Route 520 bridge closes tonight, reopens June 30

Washington State Department of Transportation crews will, in addition to construction work on the highway, be conducting an annual inspection and maintenance work on the highway.

The state Route 520 bridge will once again close for weekend construction beginning 11 p.m. Friday.

The highway will close from Interstate Highway 405 in Bellevue to Montlake Boulevard in Seattle. Additionally, 108th Avenue Northeast and 112th Avenue Northeast from Northup Way to south of route 520 will close.

All roadways will reopen 5 a.m. June 30, Monday.
