More than 400 skilled people, coordinated through the nonprofit Jubilee Services, will make fixes to up to 40 homes around the city as part of Jubilee 2008, also known as “A Day of Caring and Sharing.” Several elementary schools will get fixes as well.

The service event and the organization behind it are outgrowths of an annual event performed by a coalition of Eastside churches since 2005. The city of Bellevue’s Neighborhood Outreach Program, local homeowners and businesses are partners in the event.

Those interested should call Gary King at 425-454-3084 ext. 3206 for an application.
