Utilities work on W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy could slow down traffic on Monday.

Bellevue Utilities will inspect city water mains along the road. It will continue through Feb. 3 and will be done Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Work will begin along the 1800 block of W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE and will move north, ending on the 670 block of W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE.

Drivers can expect delays because portions of the northbound lane of the road will be closed for workers doing the inspection work. The routine maintenance work helps ensure a reliable water supply for residents.
