Utilities work to shut down 114th Avenue Southeast

Work near the Bellefield Area of Bellevue will shut down 114th Avenue Southeast for two weeks starting Monday, April 10.

Bellevue Utilities will close the road as it replaces older sewer mains with larger pipes to help serve Wilburton’s growing population.

The section of 114th Avenue to be shut down runs between Southeast 6th Street and Southeast 8th Street and runs along the Residence Inn by Marriot and the Wilburton Park and Ride.

The public can expect that access to local businesses will be maintained, the Wilburton Park and Ride will be accessible via Southeast 8th Street and sidewalks will remain open.

To access Interstate 405, commuters should:

Exit and enter Interstate 405 at Northeast Fourth Street; or exit and enter I-405 at Southeast Eighth Street via 112th Avenue Southeast.
