UPDATE: Missing Bellevue man found in Factoria

The Bellevue Police report 84-year-old James E. Pyne was found wandering in Factoria, near Newport High School, around midnight Wednesday. He had been reported missing about seven hours prior to being found by a resident who recognized him from reports.

The Bellevue Police Department is seeking the whereabouts of a missing 84-year-old Bellevue man suffering from memory loss and frequent seizures.

James E. Pyne was reported missing at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday by his sister and guardian after he was last seen walking away from his Woodridge home around 2:15 p.m. that day. Bellevue Police report Pyne has previously been found near his home, but may attempt to hitchhike to his boat in Portland.

Pyne was last seen wearing a black jacket with a purple sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray tennis shoes with bright-green shoelaces. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and 127 pounds. Anyone who sees Pyne should call 9-1-1.
