Bellevue Police officers received a report around 2:15 p.m on June 20 that a man with a gun had threatened construction workers on the 14400 block of NE 31 St. before barricading himself in the Crossroads area.

A construction reported that one of the tenants of a nearby condominium got angry and pointed a gun at workers before barricading himself in a condominium Monday afternoon. Hostage negotiators spoke to the man over the phone for about 15-20 before he surrendered.

No one was injured, and police were able to take the 37-year-old suspect into custody.
