Two Bellevue students win scholarships

Two Bellevue students have been named winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by colleges and universities.

Two Bellevue students have been named winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by colleges and universities. College-sponsored awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship.

Those winning scholarships are:

Katherine R. Acone, Home School, Probable career field: Medicine/Psychology , University of Oklahoma scholarship.

Cornelia L. Sommer, Newport High School, Probable career field: Music, Indiana University Bloomington scholarship.
