Three staff members at the Bellevue Reporter won or shared four awards at the recent Society of Professional Journalists competition.

Three staff members at the Bellevue Reporter won or shared four awards at the recent Society of Professional Journalists competition.

Chad Coleman, Joshua Adam Hicks and Lindsay Larin were honored for work in the non-daily category. The awards were presented May 22 in Bellevue.

Coleman won two awards for his photography. He took a third place in Sports Photography for a photo from coverage of the Bellevue High School football team’s game last year in Katy, Texas. He also received a third-place award in Photo Portfolio.

Hicks and Larin shared a third-place award in General News Coverage for their story, “I can’t believe he didn’t kill ME: Eastside woman had dinner with killer the night he murdered his girlfriend.”
