Shoppers can help create learning opportunities for students in the Bellevue School District that include mentors for struggling students, books for student book clubs and supplies for new teachers to create an engaging classroom.

Dress for Success clients will receive appointments with personal dressers to help select business suits, undergarments, shoes, handbags and accessories for job interviews, as well as employment suiting and business casual clothing once they’ve secured a position.

Washington Women In Need will provide grants for education, counseling and health care.

Visitors to the Giving Tree will have an opportunity to select ornaments between $50 and $250 or at a major gift level, and bring them to the concierge desk to complete a donation form. The ornaments are a gift from The Bravern as a reminder of the difference made in the lives of women and children in the community.

In the current fiscal year Washington Women In Need will provide grants totaling $760,000 to low income women throughout Washington for education (tuition and books), health care (physical, dental, vision and hearing), mental health counseling and insurance premium payments to providers and institutions selected by the individual grantees.

WWIN grants empower women to achieve wellness and create brighter futures for themselves and their families. WWIN has assisted almost 4,500 women since its founding in 1992 and charges no fee for its services, nor accepts governmental funding. More information is available at www.wawomeninneed.org
