The Bravern will kick off the holiday season on Friday with the Eastside’s only tree-lighting ceremony.

The 6-8 p.m. event is part of the “Enchanted Holidays at The Bravern” celebration. The tree lighting will be hosted by KIRO 7’s Jenni Hogan and includes festivities for the entire family including a visit from Santa Claus escorted by the Sea Gals in a horse-drawn carriage.

Attendees are invited to relax by the fire, sip steaming hot cocoa, snack on fresh kettle corn, take in the spectacular holiday light show, sing along with the Dickens Carolers and bask in the holiday spirit.

Following the lighting ceremony, Santa Claus and the Sea Gals will be available for photos and autographs. In addition, one dollar from every sale of kettle corn will be donated to Childhaven.
