Teens help out at Special Olympics

Teens from the Bellevue South Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helped out at a Special Olympics event on Saturday, May 31.

Teens from the Bellevue South Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helped out at a Special Olympics event on Saturday, May 31.

Different wards from the LDS church have been supporting the Special Olympics for over 15 years.

This year marks the first time the efforts have been coordinated to increase the support provided.

A total of 150 LDS teens from four high schools participated.

The Bellevue South Stake of the LDS Church encompasses the cities of Bellevue, Issaquah, Maple Valley, North Bend and Snoqualmie.

The Bellevue South Stake has 3,502 members.
