Tap House Grill donates $3000 to FareStart

Tap House Grill owner Paul Reder and Events Manager Lindsay Bowen presented Lauren Young, senior manager, donor relations from FareStart, $3000 from Tap House Grill’s 12th annual Oktoberfest celebration that took place in September at both the Bellevue and Seattle.

 

Tap House Grill owner Paul Reder and Events Manager Lindsay Bowen presented Lauren Young, senior manager, donor relations from FareStart, $3000 from Tap House Grill’s 12th annual Oktoberfest celebration that took place in September at both the Bellevue and Seattle.

Money was raised from a percentage of Oktoberfest sales during the one week promotion.

“We are happy to support such a wonderful program,” said Reder. “Farestart provides culinary opportunities for those who need a second chance in life. We are happy to play a small part in such a great organization.”

Since 2009 Tap House Grill has raised and donated over $17,000.00 to FareStart.

FareStart is a culinary job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals. Over the past 19 years, FareStart has provided opportunities for over 3,500 people to transform their lives, while also serving over 4 million meals to disadvantaged men, women and children.
