Talk to focus on child nutrition

A free talk, "Keeping Kids Healthy Naturally," will be offered at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle on Monday, June 2.

 

A free talk, “Keeping Kids Healthy Naturally,” will be offered at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle on Monday, June 2.

The talk, from 6-7:30 p.m., will feature Emily Lesnak, ND, who supervises student physicians in the Department of Naturopathic Medicine and sees patients in private practice in Practitioner Care at Bastyr Center. Dr. Lesnak’s clinical interests include family medicine and pediatrics.

“Living Naturally: Conversations on Health and Happiness with Bastyr Experts” is a free series of talks presented by Bastyr University and its teaching clinic, Bastyr Center for Natural Health. The talks feature an audience Q&A session.

Also coming up is “Bite-Sized Nutrition” from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, with advanced students in Bastyr University’s Master of Science in Nutrition program offering a whirlwind of five-minute presentations to give parents nutrition tips on how to keep their child healthy, naturally.
