Survey coming on city parks, recreation

Approximately 3,000 Bellevue households will be chosen at random this month to complete a survey about parks and recreation needs in the city. The feedback from those who return the survey will help form the Bellevue Parks & Open Space System Plan, which directs development of the parks and recreation system in Bellevue over the next 10 years.

Even those not selected for the survey can make their voices heard through a shorter web-based survey that is open to everyone and will be launched around the end of September.

Also, the city’s ongoing Parks Blog is open now for comments. For more information, visit the Parks & Open Space System Plan website, or contact Camron Parker, Senior Planner, at cparker@bellevuewa.gov or 425-452-2032.
