Somebody’s rich | Bellevue bowling center sells Lotto jackpot ticket

One person bought the winning ticket in Wednesday's $8.9 million Lotto jackpot.

Tough economic times? Not for the person who bought a Lotto ticket at the AMF Sun Villa Lanes bowling center in Bellevue.

A single ticket was sold for Wednesday night’s $8.9 million Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were: 02-08-22-26-45-47.

Sun Villa Lanes is at 3080 148th Avenue S.E. in Bellevue near Bellevue Community College. For their efforts, AMF Sun Villa will receive a retail selling bonus of $89,000.

The winner of the jackpot has some nice decisions to make; cash or annuity. If the winner takes a one time cash payment, they’ll receive just over $4.4 million before taxes or just over $3.3 million after federal tax withholding. If the winner chooses to take their prize in annuity payments over 25 years, they’ll receive just over $352,000 annual before taxes, or just over $264,0000 after taxes every year for the next 25 years.

The lucky person who thinks they have the winning ticket needs to double check their numbers, keep the ticket in a safe, cool, dry place and call the Lottery office for more information and to make an appointment to claim their prize, state lottery officials say.

Lotto tickets are a dollar and jackpots start at $1,000,000.
