The Bellevue School District’s ski school will offer instruction from beginning to master level in skiing and snowboarding, as well as park and pipe and a racing program, to children in Bellevue. The district provides classes and transportation to Summit Central at Snoqualmie Pass each Saturday starting Jan. 12 and continuing through March 9.

Bellevue Ski School partners with Ullr Snow Sports (www.ullr.com), a local winter instructional company staffed by expert skiers and boarders from the Eastside. The school has low teacher-to-student ratios, ranging from four to eight students per class depending on age and abilities.

Beginners have smaller class sizes that meet more frequently in order to help them enjoy the slopes quickly and safely. The school provides a transportation-only option for experienced high school skiers and riders.

The program is open to children in 2nd to 12th grade. School district employees assist with supervision. The ski school is a nonprofit program with a board and volunteers who seek to provide a positive environment for students to learn lifelong skills in snow sports.

Registration is open until Dec. 15. More information is available at www.bellevueskischool.com.
