U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) will hold a roundtable with Bellevue-area business leaders Tuesday, June 1 to discuss efforts to support the Bel-Red Corridor Project.
Murray, who visited the Corridor last year, held Bellevue’s project up as a national model for the type of comprehensive approach to sustainable, environmentally-conscious development that needs to be encouraged across the country during a Senate Transportation hearing last month.
Those expected to participate in the roundtable include Grant Degginger, City of Bellevue Councilmember; Leslie Lloyd, Bellevue Downtown Association member; Ron Rauch, Bellevue Downtown Association Member; Betty Nokes, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce; Shiv Batra, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce; DeLee Shoemaker, Microsoft; Sue Baugh, Bel-Red Steering Committee;
Mike Creighton, Bel-Red Steering Committee; Greg Johnson, President of Wright Runstad & Company; and Ric Ilgenfritz, Sound Transit.
