Scouts will gather at the Woodland Park Zoo on Saturday, October 3 for a Scout Expo with exhibits, challenges and more.

The event, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., is open to all Boy Scout Packs, Troops, crews, leaders and parents. Each uniformed Scout will receive free admission to the zoo with a paying adult.

Scouts attending will receive three merit badges: Reptile, Mammal and Orienteering. They also will meet a number of zoo officials, including the zoo doctor and the dentist to the animals.
