The first Free to Breathe 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk in Seattle will take place Sunday, Nov. 8 at Seward Park. The event will raise funds to fight lung cancer. Sponsored by the National Lung Cancer Partnership, all proceeds help support the partnership’s research, education and awareness programs.

Registration opens at 7 a.m.; welcome rally begins at 8:30 a.m.; race starts for runners at 9 a.m.; race starts for walkers at 9:15 a.m.

Registration cost is $25 – online – closes Nov. 4; $28 – mail-in – closes Oct. 30; $30 – on event day – closes Nov. 8.
