For families on the Eastside, this week is all about theater. There are several wonderful theater organizations that provide fantastic children’s theater programs. Here are three family-friendly theater events happening to put on the calendar.
Sleeping Beauty at Second Story Reperatory in Redmond
The story of Sleeping Beauty is retold for young audiences by the award-winning Second Story Rep, based at Redmond Town Center. In this production, Sleeping Beauty is a spunky heroine and Prince Charming is a nervous rescuer. The story follows the many challenges outlined in the original story, but mixes in some humor, fun, and even some sword-fighting! The show plays through Sunday, Jan. 23.
