Preschool offers parent education classes

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue Preschool will sponsor a series of parent education classes to be held in the early evenings.

The first topic will cover aspects of kindergarten readiness. Future topics may include discipline, anger management, sibling rivalry, self-esteem, parenting styles, and temperament.

Karin C. Wigley, a lead preschool teacher and parent educator, who has been with the preschool program for over 10 years, will facilitate the discussions. Sessions will include open forums to give participants time for individual problem solving.

The first sessions is free on Wednesday, May 27 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the main clubhouse located at 209 100th Ave. N.E. Parking is available behind the building.
