Police respond to attempted break-in on SE 18th

Police responded to a reported break-in at a residence on the 14000 block of Southeast Eighteenth Street around 12:15 p.m. today, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Police responded to a reported break-in at a residence on the 14000 block of Southeast Eighteenth Street around 12:15 p.m. today, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Bellevue Police Ofc. Seth Tyler said the resident reported  a man knocking on their door. After not responding, the suspect allegedly walked to the back of the house and broke out a back window. The resident left their home and called police, but the suspect was no longer there when officers arrived, Tyler said. A K-9 officer was also dispatched, but also was unable to locate the suspect.
