Bellevue Police are warning the public to be on the lookout for a possibly armed felon who eluded officers following a domestic disturbance response on May 31.

Bellevue Police are warning the public to be on the lookout for a possibly armed felon who eluded officers following a domestic disturbance response on May 31.

Carlos Vasquez-Castillo, 22, had been involved in a dispute with his ex-girlfriend, but fled from officers in a vehicle he later abandoned, according to a news release. He is believed to have been armed with a handgun during the incident.

There is a $100,000 warrant for Vasquez-Castillo for unlawful imprisonment (domestic violence), second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and attempting to elude.

Police are asking anyone who sees Vasquez-Castillo or knows of his whereabouts to call 911 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. CrimeStoppers is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
