Police bust third massage parlor this month for alleged prostitution

Bellevue Police arrested three women for alleged prostitution at the Long Life Retreat & Spa on Thursday, making it the third massage parlor facing closure under the city's chronic nuisance ordinance this month.

Bellevue Police arrested three women for alleged prostitution at the Long Life Retreat & Spa on Thursday.

The Main Street massage parlor was the focus of a weeks-long investigation by Bellevue vice detectives, after police received complaints of prostitution occurring there, said Bellevue Detective Amanda Jensen.

Long Life is the third massage parlor busted for alleged prostitution this month, and where Bellevue Police are exercising a new chronic nuisance ordinance to force the business to close shop.

“Those three arrests started the process for this property,” Jensen said.

Jensen said vice detectives investigating Long Life received propositions from three women at the massage parlor, all in their 40s.

The detective said several other massage parlors are under investigation as Bellevue Police work to crack down on prostitution in the city.
